Quality Inspector

Santa Rosa, CA

Temp to Hire

$22.00–$25.00 per hour + shift differential (Multiple Shifts)

Star Staffing is hiring Quality Inspectors for a manufacturing facility in Santa Rosa. The Quality Inspector will perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections.
  • Use measuring equipment such as calipers.
  • Document inspection results and quality data.
  • Identify and report non-conforming products.
  • Follow product rejection, sample retention, and rework procedures.
  • Perform final inspections on reworked products when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the inspection and work areas.
  • Participate in production meetings and provide quality updates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of Quality Control experience.
  • Experience with precision measuring equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of SPC and ISO 9001/ISO 13485 requirements preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Preferred: Experience in medical device manufacturing and/or plastic injection molding.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and more than 20 lbs. frequently.
  • May require occasional climbing and exposure to typical manufacturing environments.
