Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while maintaining the quality of care expected in a clinical setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to develop tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate therapeutic interventions that align with patient needs, employing solution-focused methodologies to promote recovery.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment efforts and ensure holistic care for patients.
• Take part in case discussions and peer review meetings aimed at improving overall care delivery and therapeutic outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, equipping them with strategies and resources for better understanding and management of their conditions.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health treatments to continually enhance your effectiveness as a clinician.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Clinical Social Worker at St. John's Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse roster of patients ranging from children to elderly individuals grappling with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. You will employ innovative and compassionate approaches to treatment, guided by the unique needs and cultures of your clients, ensuring a personalized therapeutic experience.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Illinois.
• At least three years of clinical experience with a strong focus on psychotherapy and mental health intervention.
• Expertise in solution-focused therapeutic techniques and methods.
• Exceptional communication and analytical skills that foster effective teamwork and patient engagement.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of three years of experience is required, candidates with a background in trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or family therapy will be particularly advantageous. Experience working with a diverse clientele and in telehealth settings is also a plus, as it complements our remote care model.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
