Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce precision metal and plastic parts. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints and work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models
- Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for materials
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Document production runs and quality checks
Qualifications:
- Machinist certification in CNC (technical certification preferred)
- Proficiency with G-code and CNC programming basics
- Experience with measuring instruments and quality control
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with multi-axis machining
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Surfcam)
