Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at SpringLeaf Physical Therapy & Wellness Center in Lakewood, New Jersey. As a key member of our practice, you will be responsible for collaborating with patients to facilitate their journey toward improved mobility, enhanced physical function, and overall wellness. This full-time role involves working directly with patients in an outpatient setting, focusing on personalized care and comprehensive rehabilitation strategies.

With a strong commitment to promoting health and wellness, we primarily serve patients with private medical insurance, focusing on individualized treatment and attention to detail.

Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position is an onsite role based in our outpatient office. You will join a small, collaborative team consisting of two other physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our practice fosters an environment of continual learning and growth, encouraging team members to share knowledge and support each other in delivering the highest standard of care. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans and rehabilitation strategies, ensuring they align with best practices in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, providing individualized attention and care while maximizing treatment efficiency.
• Deliver various evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients’ mobility and physical function.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment protocols based on their evolving needs and outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments provided, and progress notes accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.
• Engage in ongoing patient education to promote awareness about injury prevention, self-management techniques, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and foster comprehensive treatment plans for complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions and injuries, including those seeking rehabilitation post-surgery, managing chronic pain, and those engaged in sports-related recovery. We emphasize patient-centered care, striving to understand each individual's unique goals and circumstances to tailor our rehabilitation strategies accordingly. This approach not only meets physical rehabilitation needs but also empowers our patients to regain control over their health and daily activities.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active license and certification as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or board inquiries.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, demonstrating familiarity with treatment protocols and patient management in this specialization.
• Proven ability to develop and administer tailored exercise regimens suited to varying patient needs and recovery goals.
• Experience with EMR systems, especially WebPT, to efficiently document patient data and treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plans, and opportunities for continuing education.
