The Automotive Machinist will primarily work in a custom automotive fabrication facility, contributing precision craftsmanship to the creation and maintenance of automotive components. Reporting to the shop supervisor, the machinist will use their expertise in both CNC and manual machining to ensure parts meet stringent quality and safety standards within a typical 40-hour work week.

Responsibilities

• Perform CNC and manual machining to fabricate automotive parts
• Interpret blueprints to guide machining processes
• Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy
• Set up machines and maintain cutting tools
• Inspect parts and enforce quality control standards
• Comply with safety regulations in all activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive machining
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in CNC machining and precision measuring
• Skilled in machine tool operation and maintenance
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Mechanical aptitude and commitment to safety
