Job Title: Senior Tech Lead – Sterling OMS
Location: Seattle, WA / Vancouver, WA

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tech Lead with strong Sterling OMS expertise to lead the design, development, integration, and implementation of Order Management solutions. The ideal candidate will have approximately 15 years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on experience in IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Sterling OMS architecture, design, development, and implementation initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership to development teams and ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Design and implement OMS integrations with enterprise applications and third-party systems.
  • Configure and customize Sterling OMS based on business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide production support.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, QA teams, and project managers.
  • Review technical designs, code, and implementation approaches.
  • Ensure solutions follow enterprise architecture, security, and development standards.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
  • Participate in technical discussions, estimation, planning, and delivery activities.
Required Skills
  • 15+ years of overall IT experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling OMS.
  • Strong understanding of Order Management processes.
  • Experience with Sterling OMS customization and configuration.
  • Strong integration/API development experience.
  • Experience with enterprise application integration.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and technical leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Sterling OMS implementations or upgrades.
  • Experience in retail/e-commerce environments.
  • Microservices and REST/SOAP API experience.
  • Cloud experience is a plus.
  • CI/CD and Agile development experience.
