Job description

Operations & Administrative Coordinator (High-Impact Role)

Southern High Farms (SHF)

Southern High Farms is seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Operations & Administrative Coordinator to serve as the central hub of daily operations. This role is responsible for managing communication, scheduling, logistics, and internal coordination across multiple departments.

This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who is sharp, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment—someone who can keep a team aligned, ensure nothing falls through the cracks, and take ownership of execution from day one.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Manage all incoming and outgoing communication (calls, emails, client/vendor inquiries)
  • Own and maintain company calendars, appointments, and scheduling
  • Coordinate deliveries, logistics, and vendor communication
  • Track and follow up on tasks to ensure nothing is missed
  • Organize and maintain digital files, documents, and internal systems
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, vendors, and partners
  • Support leadership with daily operations, reporting, and accountability tracking
  • Assist in coordinating internal meetings, agendas, and follow-ups

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong computer proficiency (Excel, email systems, scheduling tools, CRM platforms)
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure
  • Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Self-starter with a high level of ownership and accountability
  • Team-oriented, but able to operate independently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment

Ideal Background

  • 2–5 years in administrative, operations, or coordination roles
  • Experience managing schedules, logistics, or client communication
  • Experience with Excel, calendars, and task management systems
  • Proven ability to stay organized and follow through on responsibilities
