The Budlong Southern Chicken is a Chicago staple restaurant known for our fast casual southern style hot chicken. We pride ourselves on delivering authentic, flavorful dishes in a welcoming environment.

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Back of House (BOH) cooks to join our team. If you have experience cooking fast casual southern style hot chicken and are committed to excellence, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook southern style hot chicken and other menu items according to our recipes and standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet customer demand.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Qualifications
  • Previous cook experience, preferably in fast casual dining and southern style hot chicken preparation.
  • Full availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Committed, hardworking, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
