Job Summary:
Solidus Technical Solutions, LLC is seeking a mission-driven Software Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to join their Agile team in designing, developing, and maintaining critical software for next-generation satellite ground systems. The role involves building and scaling high-reliability systems using Java and C++ while expanding expertise in AWS web services and modern DevSecOps pipelines.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for satellite ground systems
• Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment
• Learn a breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice software design Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques Satellite ground system technologies including command and telemetry, flight dynamics, planning and scheduling, and spacecraft operations
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
• Active and Current TS/SCI Clearance
• Cultural fit amongst a collaborative team environment
• 2+ years of relevant software engineering experience
• Experience developing software using Java and C++
• Red Hat 8 Linux OS and Windows 2019 OS experience or similar experience
• Competency with Windows Server 2019 or equivalent operating systems
• Experience executing development tasks within an Agile sprint structure
• Basic comprehension of ground system components, command tracking, or telemetry architectures
• Exposure to automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery pipelines
