  • Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe, structured, and positive environment
  • Collaborate with a co-instructor during full-day camps
  • Represent Snapology in a professional and enthusiastic manner
  • Prepare for programs through training and curriculum review
  • Transport and organize materials (Lead Instructors only)

What We're Looking For
We're seeking energetic, dependable candidates who:
  • Are available for one or both July full-day camp weeks (priority scheduling)
  • Enjoy working with children and creating a fun learning environment
  • Are comfortable leading groups and managing classroom behavior
  • Can travel to Harvard, MA and surrounding areas

You must:
  • Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Have experience working with children (camp counselor, tutor, babysitter, etc.)
  • Be punctual, organized, and communicative

Requirements
  • Prior classroom or group management experience preferred (required for Lead Instructors)
  • Must pass a CORI background check and complete child safety training (provided)
  • Education, STEM, or teaching background is a plus (training provided)
  • Ability to lift and transport program materials (for Lead role)

Additional Opportunities & Hours
Beyond summer camps, instructors can also pick up flexible hours through:
  • Field Trip Programs: Daytime visits to local camps (2-6 hour shifts)
  • After-School Classes: 60-90 mins, weekdays (2:30-5:30 PM)
  • Weekend Workshops & Events: 2-4 hour programs
  • School Vacation Programs: Half-day or full-day sessions

You can build a schedule that fits your availability!
What You'll Gain
  • Hands-on teaching and classroom leadership experience
  • Experience with STEM, robotics, and engineering-based learning
  • A fun, supportive team environment
  • The opportunity to inspire kids through play-based learning
