K–12 Tutor (Part-Time)

Smart Learning Families is looking for 2 passionate, dependable, and motivated tutors to join our growing team. If you enjoy helping students succeed and making a positive impact on their academic journey, we'd love to meet you!

As a tutor, you will work with students in Kindergarten through 12th grade, providing personalized instruction in subjects such as:

• Reading Comprehension
• Math
• Study and Organizational Skills
• Florida State Test Preparation

We're looking for educators who are patient, engaging, and committed to helping students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and achieve their academic goals.

About the Role:
As a K–12 Academic Tutor, you will provide high-quality instruction through one-on-one tutoring and small group sessions at our learning center in Weston, FL.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons tailored to each student's learning style.
• Adapt instruction to meet individual academic needs and learning goals.
• Help students strengthen their skills, build confidence, and develop a positive attitude toward learning.
• Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with our academic team.
• Foster a supportive, encouraging, and motivating learning environment.
• Inspire students to reach their full academic potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality tutoring in Reading, Math, and Study Skills.
• Prepare students for state tests using proven strategies.
• Manage student behavior in a positive, encouraging way.
• Adjust teaching methods to fit each student’s learning style.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Tutor, Teacher, or Educator (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of elementary and middle school curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm for student success.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.

Schedule & Pay:

• Part-time – Afternoons and/or weekends.
• Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
