Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and mechanically skilled Maintenance Mechanic / Field Service Technician. This position involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on high-rise suspended access equipment.
This is a hands-on field position requiring strong troubleshooting skills, comfort working at heights, and the ability to think independently in challenging environments.
No two days are the same in this industry.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair BMU equipment and suspended access systems
- Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical failures
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and emergency service calls
- Repair motors, gearboxes, traction hoists, and hydraulic power units
- Assist with equipment modernization and installations
- Perform MIG and stick welding and basic fabrication
- Complete daily service reports and documentation
- Safely perform rooftop work, structural climbing, and rigging operations
- Operate shop equipment and maintain tools/service vehicles
- Work independently and with a team in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications
- Mechanical troubleshooting experience
- Electrical troubleshooting knowledge
- Experience with PLCs and VFDs preferred
- Hydraulic repair experience preferred
- Welding and fabrication skills a plus
- Ability to read schematics and diagrams
- Comfortable working at heights
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
