ABOUT SIMPLE BODY

Simple Body is a Colorado Springsbased clean skincare brand with 16+ years of small-batch, fresh-formulated products made with real, honest ingredients. Founded and operated by formulator Jewels Burdick, Simple Body has built a loyal following around the belief that what you put on your skin matters and that clean beauty should never mean compromise.

We sell through our own Shopify store and select retail partners, and we're growing. Now we need the right person to help us show up consistently, authentically, and beautifully on social media.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for an experienced Content Creator and Social Media Manager who can do more than schedule posts. We need someone who can step inside a brand's world, understand its values, and translate that into a strategic, engaging, and visually cohesive social presence month after month.

This is a part-time freelance role with direct access to our founder and real room to grow with the brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and submit a full monthly content calendar for approval before any content goes live

Create Reels, carousels, and static posts for Instagram and Facebook that align with Simple Body's clean, minimal, botanically-inspired aesthetic

Write on-brand captions that educate, connect, and drive action

Develop and execute a posting schedule based on platform analytics and optimal engagement windows

Actively grow our follower base through strategic content, community engagement, and consistent presence

Shoot product and lifestyle content as needed

Track performance monthly and adjust strategy based on data

Collaborate directly with the founder on launches, campaigns, and brand direction

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of social media management experience specifically within the beauty, skincare, or wellness industry

Proven track record of growing an engaged following

Portfolio and analytics required

Proficiency in content creation tools such as CapCut, Adobe Express, Canva, or Lightroom

Strong working knowledge of Instagram and Facebook algorithms, posting cadence, and engagement best practices

Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to match and maintain a brand voice

Experience managing a content approval process and meeting deadlines independently

Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and planning skills

Bonus: Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, or integrated email and social campaigns
