As our business continues to grow globally, we're looking for a passionate User Research Specialist to help us better understand North American consumers and accelerate product innovation through agile, localized research.

What You'll Do

• Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative consumer research projects that support marketing strategy, brand initiatives, and business decision-making across North America.
• Recruit participants for consumer and market research while building scalable, cost-effective recruitment channels and local research resources.
• Conduct agile field research to validate emerging consumer needs, sports scenarios, and market opportunities through interviews, observations, intercepts, and other in-market research methods.
• Identify localized consumer behaviors, cultural insights, and market trends to help the business better understand North American consumers.
• Collaborate closely with the Global Consumer Insights team in China throughout the research process, including research design, participant recruitment, fieldwork, insight generation, and reporting.
• Respond quickly to ad hoc research requests from regional teams and deliver actionable insights within fast-moving business timelines.
• Support research activities during sporting events, trade shows, community activations, and other offline marketing initiatives across North America.
• Continuously expand local research resources by developing relationships with agencies, communities, organizations, and alternative participant recruitment channels to improve research quality while optimizing costs.

What We're Looking For

-Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• 1–3 years of experience in User Research, Consumer Insights, UX Research, or Market Research.
• Experience working in multinational companies or research agencies serving global brands.
• Experience recruiting research participants and coordinating field research activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse communities.
• Fluent in English.

-Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for sports, consumer electronics, or wearable technology.
• Familiarity with qualitative research methods such as in-depth interviews, ethnographic research, contextual inquiry, and field studies.
• Self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work independently in ambiguous situations.
• Comfortable working across cultures and collaborating with global teams.
• Willingness to travel frequently across North America for research activities and events.
• Knowledge of Shokz products and open-ear audio technology is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus, but not required.
