Job Description
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
Specialty: RRT
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night
Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00)
Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: CRT or RRT
Certifications: BLS, CRT, RRT
Must-Have: Must be experienced with all age populations
Description:
36/48 alternating nights.
Start date within the next 3-5 weeks.
Previous Charge Experience is not required.
Patient care will include various age groups: neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Skills required include aerosol setup, arterial punctures, bag and mask ventilation, intubation assistance, and troubleshooting high pressure alarms.
Experience with treatments for conditions such as ARDS, pneumonia, and cystic fibrosis is necessary.
Ability to perform diagnostic procedures such as bronchoscopies and arterial blood gas draws is required.
Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in managing tracheostomy care and pulmonary hygiene techniques.
Travel experience is highly preferred.
COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required, with medical or religious exemptions only.
