Job description

About the Role:
SENOJ INC is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team in Long Island City, NY! This is an exciting opportunity to bring your craft and passion for sewing to a dynamic work environment where quality and creativity are valued. Responsibilities:
  • Sew, alter, and construct garments and textile products with precision and care
  • Perform fittings and make necessary alterations to ensure proper fit and finish
  • Operate industrial and domestic sewing machines, sergers, and other equipment
  • Inspect finished products for quality control and adherence to specifications
  • Follow patterns, sketches, and technical instructions to complete garment construction
  • Maintain and organize sewing tools, materials, and workspace
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a seamstress, tailor, or garment construction professional
  • Proficiency with sewing machines, sergers, and hand-stitching techniques
  • Strong knowledge of fabrics, patterns, and garment construction methods
  • Ability to read and interpret patterns, sketches, and sewing instructions
  • Keen eye for detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong team-oriented attitude
