Job Description

Position Title: Project Management Lead – Capital Upgrade Program

Your role

The PM Lead – Capital Upgrade Program provides project management, deep technical expertise and strategic support for Critical Infrastructure Asset Replacement projects across the global data center portfolio, with a primary focus on North America. This role is instrumental in guiding capital equipment lifecycle decisions, evaluating emerging technologies and supporting development and implementation of a global program to identify and replace at risk critical infrastructure assets.

What you’ll do

  • Support the Global Tech Ops function in the implementation and management of the Global Critical Infrastructure Program.
  • Partner with design consultants, construction managers, and OEM partners to ensure alignment to specifications.
  • Review and advise on design packages for critical infrastructure replacements.
  • Validate technical solutions against global standards and operational requirements.
  • In collaboration with Regional Operations teams, provide risk assessments and recommendations for at‑risk asset replacement.
  • Coordinate infrastructure upgrade technical reviews and critical asset approvals.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, DC&E (Design, Engineering & Construction), Solutions Engineering and Portfolio Operations to ensure proper decisions around equipment selection.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to evaluate new infrastructure technologies for feasibility and deployment.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Facilities Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years in data center infrastructure, critical systems, or facilities engineering and construction.
  • Strong understanding of power systems, cooling technologies, and building automation.
  • Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • PMP Certification is a plus.
