Securus Group is contracting licensed Florida life insurance agents who want to build a real book of business selling IUL,and term life. This is an independent agent role — you're 1099, you're commission only, and you own your production.

You start at 55% of the premium you write. Most agencies bring new agents in between 25% and 30% and make them climb for years. We don't. If you've been writing business and wondering why your check never matched your effort, that gap is usually the answer.

We're not looking for order-takers. We're looking for agents who already hold their 2-15 or 2-14, understand that this business rewards consistency, and want a platform with competitive contracts and product access instead of a cubicle and a script.

What You'll Do

• Meet with Florida families and business owners to review their current coverage, income protection, and retirement gaps
• Present and place Indexed Universal Life (IUL),and term life solutions based on the client's actual situation — not a one-size-fits-all pitch
• Work a mix of purchased leads and a referral pipeline you build from every client you serve
• Run appointments your way: remote by phone and Zoom, in person in your local territory, or both — you choose the model that fits your life
• Follow up, service your clients, and turn one policy into a household and a referral chain
• Stay compliant with Florida DFS requirements and carrier suitability standards

What You Bring

• Active Florida 2-15 (Life, Health & Variable Annuity) or 2-14 (Life Including Variable Annuity) license — required. We are only contracting already-licensed agents at this time.
• Comfort talking about money, retirement, and mortality with adults — with empathy, not pressure
• Self-discipline. There's no one clocking you in. Producers here treat this like the business it is.
• Willingness to invest in your own lead flow. Serious agents buy leads; we'll show you what's working and what isn't.
• Reliable phone, internet, and a quiet place to work. Reliable transportation if you're running field appointments.
• Annuity and IUL experience is a plus — but we'll train the right licensed agent who's coachable.

Compensation — Read This Part Carefully

This is a 100% commission, 1099 independent contractor position. There is no base salary, no hourly wage, and no draw. You are paid on the business you write.

What we can tell you is the part that's actually in our control: your starting commission is 55% of the premium you write. Entry-level contracts elsewhere commonly land in the 25–30% range, which means an agent writing the exact same case at another agency takes home roughly half of what they'd take home here. Your level increases with production.

Earnings depend entirely on your activity, licensing, product mix, carrier, and persistency. Some agents work this part-time around another job; others make it their full-time income. We do not guarantee any specific income level, and we'd rather tell you that up front than sell you a number.
