SECURITY OFFICER – CHARTER SCHOOL (SPANISH SPEAKING)

Secure Guard Protection Agency (SGPA) is currently seeking a professional and reliable Security Officer for a Charter School location.

Position Details:
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Hours: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
• Location: Charter School
• Employment Type: Full-Time

Requirements:
• Valid New York State Security Guard Registration Card
• Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to interact professionally with students, parents, faculty, and visitors
• Must be punctual, dependable, and professional in appearance
• Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications:
• F-02 Fire Guard Certification (Preferred)
• Previous school security experience preferred
• Experience working in educational or youth-focused environments

Responsibilities:
• Monitor and secure school premises
• Control access and screen visitors
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors
• Conduct patrols of the facility and surrounding areas
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as required
