Job Description:
In this position you are responsible for the repossession of vehicles as assigned by our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to receive repossession assignments
- Must be computer literate and able to communicate via email and our recovery data base
- Enter updates into thesystem within 24 hours of receiving assignments, followed by updates every 72 hours, or until the case is resolved toward a billable solution.
- Begin process of initiating repossession of vehicle
- Take pictures and upload pictures of vehicles within 24 hours or by 9:00 a.m. next business day.
- Complete condition reports within an hour of repossession or by 9:00 a.m. next business day.
- Attend monthly departmental meetings
- Record and turn in accurate time sheets in a timely matter
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, i.e., driving vehicles through auction sale lanes on designated sale days.
- May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs dictate.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous repossession experience helpful.
- Valid Driver's License and safe driving record required. Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
- Constantly required to enter and exit vehicles. Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to walk long distances. Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
- Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
- Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
- Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
