Job Title: Jira Admin
Location: SFO, CA
Duration: 6 months
GC or Citizens only
Job Description:
1 2+ year of Jira Systems Admin
2 good understanding of Linux and networking
3 good comm/customer facing skills
What you'll do:
• Provide application support for JIRA to Engineering and the rest of the business
• Onboard new teams to JIRA and help existing teams optimize their workflows
• Analyze requests for new JIRA functionality and implement new features
• Triage incoming support requests and handle or route appropriately
• Provide systems-level support for the JIRA service and underlying dependencies
What we're looking for:
• Minimum two years experience as a JIRA administrator, with deep hands-on experience configuring and supporting the application
• Strong UNIX and TCP/IP fundamentals, particularly in cloud environments
• Experience managing other Atlassian stack applications such as Confluence
• Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet and Chef
• Creative problem-solving style and strong critical thinking skills
• Efficient, passionate, and comfortable wearing lots of hats

Performs highly complex application programming/systems development and support Performs highly complex configuration of business rules and technical parameters of software products Review business requirements and develop application design documentation Build technical components (Maximo objects, TRM Rules, Java extensions, etc) based on detailed design.
Performs unit testing of components along with completing necessary documentation. Supports product test, user acceptance test, etc as a member of the fix-it team. Employs consistent measurement techniques Include testing in project plans and establish controls to require adherence to test plans Manages the interrelationships among various projects or work objectives
