Job Summary:
Satine Technologies is hiring Site Reliability Engineers at Senior and Staff levels for a mission-critical platform engineering program. The role involves building and operating a cloud platform, ensuring reliability, and improving CI/CD pipelines and observability systems.
Responsibilities:
• Build and operate Kubernetes clusters and cloud infrastructure
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines - reliability, deployment safety, rollback capability
• Implement and maintain observability: metrics, logging, alerting, dashboards
• Write Terraform and IaC to provision and manage cloud resources
• Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident response for platform issues
• Identify and drive reliability improvements - SLO gaps, toil reduction, capacity issues
• Document what you build so the team can operate and extend it
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of SRE, DevOps, or systems/infrastructure engineering experience
• Working proficiency with Kubernetes - you understand how it works, not just how to use kubectl
• Hands-on Terraform experience
• Solid cloud fundamentals on at least one major platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong Linux command line - comfortable debugging system-level issues
• US citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status (Public Trust eligibility required)
• 7+ years of SRE, platform engineering, or DevOps experience
• Strong Kubernetes - you've operated clusters in production, not just deployed workloads to them
• Terraform or equivalent IaC at real scale
• Solid Linux fundamentals - you can debug a system-level issue, understand network behavior, read a flame graph
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• US citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status (Public Trust eligibility required)
Preferred:
• Experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures
• Observability stack experience: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar
• Familiarity with security or compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, SOC 2, or similar)
• GitOps experience with tools like ArgoCD or Flux
• Experience with scripting in Python or Bash for automation
