Job Summary:ย
We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to set up, maintain and operate machinery. You'll ensure the interminable and efficient running of production.ย
Position Responsibilities: ย
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycleย
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)ย
- Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machinesย
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring toolsย
- Test operation of machines periodicallyย
- Fix issues that might occur during the shiftย
- Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flawsย
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final productsย
- Maintain activity logsย
Requirements
Position Qualifications:ย
- Proven experience as a machine operatorย
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)ย
- Understanding of production proceduresย
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., constant use of protective gear)ย
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manualsย
- Analytical skillsย
- Attention to detailย
- Teamwork and communication skillsย
- Physical stamina and strengthย
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plusย
