The Role:

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with commercial clients in the roofing industry. The primary focus of this role is to generate new business opportunities, nurture existing accounts, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing commercial clients, understanding their needs and providing excellent customer service.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting potential clients, conducting market research, and networking with industry professionals.
• Project Management & Estimation: Collaborate with our technical team to prepare accurate project estimates and proposals. Serve as the main liaison between clients and internal teams to coordinate project timelines and ensure successful execution.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure profitability while meeting customer expectations.
• Market Intelligence: Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for business growth.
• Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prepare reports, and provide regular forecasts to management.
• Industry Engagement: Represent us Burks at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build relationships and generate leads.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience: 4 years of sales experience is required. Previous experience in roofing sales is preferred.
• Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of the commercial roofing industry, including materials, systems, and installation methods is crucial.
• Skills:
• Proven sales skills, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for preparing proposals and delivering presentations.
• Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
• Analytical skills to assess market trends and sales data.
• Resilience and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Education: A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
