Job description

The Retail Sales Associate plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting sales of general merchandise. This position operates within both small and large team structures and requires a high to moderate level of customer engagement. The associate contributes to store operations through merchandising, inventory management, and cash handling across flexible day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and assistance
  • Demonstrate product knowledge to support sales
  • Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems
  • Manage inventory and replenish stock as needed
  • Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards
  • Handle cash and complete sales processing efficiently
  • Support promotional activities and sales initiatives
  • Collaborate effectively within small or large team environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Entry-level retail sales experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Inventory management and merchandising knowledge
  • Problem solving and teamwork abilities
  • Attention to detail
