At Sakin, we believe that with the right support, everyone can lead rich, fulfilling, and independent lives. We are seeking dedicated Direct Care Workers (DCWs) to provide high-quality, in-home support to kids, teens, and adults within our community.

This role is about much more than just supervising; it is about actively helping clients achieve their personal goals, building their confidence, and supporting their families. If you lead with empathy, patience, and a desire to do work that truly matters, we would love to meet you.

• Habilitation: Actively teach, model, and encourage essential life skills—from personal hygiene to community integration—empowering clients to reach their highest level of independence.

• Personal Care (Attendant Care): Provide respectful, hands-on assistance with daily routines, helping clients safely navigate dressing, grooming, and mobility.

• Respite Care: Step in to create a safe, engaging, and joyful environment for clients, providing their dedicated family caregivers with essential time to rest and recharge.

• Community & Companionship: Facilitate engaging daily activities, hobbies, and community outings that foster joy, social connection, and personal growth.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Active Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required).

• Negative TB test result (completed within the last 12 months) or willingness to obtain one.

• Valid Arizona Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.

• Certifications Needed:

  • Current CPR and First Aid Certifications.

  • Article 9 Training (A state requirement for the clients we support).

  • DCW Certification: Proof of completion for Level 1 and Level 2.

  • Need your certifications? We offer free, pre-hire training covering CPR/First Aid, Article 9, and DCW certification for candidates who qualify!
