Position Overview

Saint Luke's Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team on a full-time basis. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to identify mental health status and treatment needs.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Engage in regular therapy sessions, both individually and in group settings, providing therapeutic tools and strategies to empower clients.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of client progress and treatment adjustments within our EHR system to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
  • Facilitate referrals to psychiatrists or other healthcare providers as necessary to enhance the treatment process.
  • Participate in team meetings to collaborate with peers, discuss challenging cases, and share best practices for client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will encounter a diverse clientele, ranging from individuals struggling with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and eating disorders, to those facing substance use challenges. Your approach will emphasize cultural competence, ensuring that all clients feel respected and understood regardless of their background. Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensing as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
  • Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
  • Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, facilitating effective communication and rapport-building with clients.
  • Proficient in EHR systems and familiar with various computer applications relevant to mental health documentation.
  • Dedication to ethical practice, maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in diverse settings with varied patient populations.
  • Ability to deliver both individual and group therapy utilizing culturally responsive methodologies.
  • Background in collaborative care practices, contributing as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
