Who We Need

We are seeking a PTC Windchill PLM Subject Matter Expert (PLM SME) to provide technical expertise and support for the development and delivery of a technical solution to a government agency. The role requires a strong foundation in product lifecycle and technology solution implementation, experience leading technical teams, and the ability to analyze current customer business processes to identify opportunities to add transformative business value. The PLM SME will orchestrate and implement a large‑scale, multi‑installation convergence of disparate Product Lifecycle Management solutions into a consolidated enterprise Windchill environment, primarily supporting deployment with a functional focus.

• Support development of engagement work plans, schedules, and performance meetings.
• Understand the fundamentals of the client's business.
• Work with team members to anticipate and assess clients’ future needs and evaluate solutions.

Business Development

• Support practice business development activities.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Sabel products and services.
• Identify potential add‑on work and support proposal development.

Job QualificationsRequired Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with PTC’s Windchill PLM platform and as a Windchill technical consultant.
• Experience in customer‑facing roles providing process architecture design and workshop delivery.
• Knowledge of Windchill PLM architecture design and deployments.
• Experience transforming existing Windchill PLM systems, tooling, and techniques for transformational projects.
• Experience with legacy systems retirement and data migrations.
• Experience in Windchill systems administration and system change control procedures.
• Experience in Windchill PLM customization reduction efforts.
• Expert skill level in Windchill Business Administration, Policy Administration, Lifecycle development, Workflow definition, OIRs, and container definition.
• Expert knowledge in Windchill Context Strategies.
• Understanding of CAD data management and other product data content management.
• Experience with PLM systems integration; demonstrated implementation and support of Creo Engineer III CAD software.
• Demonstrated understanding of product development, manufacturing, and supply‑chain business processes.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and their interaction with a PLM system is a plus.
• Understanding of solutions development methodologies (e.g., DevOps, Agile, Software Development Lifecycle) is a plus.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent to adhere to DoD IT Standards.
• U.S. Citizen and able to obtain SECRET clearance.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation will be determined in partnership with the Hiring Manager and may vary based on contract and labor category alignment, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications or licenses, and geographic location.
