Are you a highly motivated person that wants to make a difference in a growing company? Do you enjoy developing new relationships and turning them into long term customers? Do you already have a portfolio of customers, but are looking for a new place to develop them further? STS LA is looking for an Estimator for its Special Projects Division.
Our company specializes in remodel/new construction for residential and commercial properties. Our special projects division’s focus is on tenant improvement projects, and various types of remodel projects, in addition to emergency services, small repairs and restoration for a multitude of properties in the Los Angeles area. Our goal is for this person to continue to maintain our current relationships, while developing new relationships and leads.
What Does An Estimators Day Look Like?
- Making contact with various residential homeowners and management companies to develop relationships and expand our services to new customers
- Walking jobs, taking notes and translating them into estimates and proposals
- Presenting proposals to potential customers
- Working with the Special Projects Project Manager to hand off projects and make sure they are executed to scope
- Reviewing profit and loss once jobs are complete
- Meeting monthly with the accounting team and ownership to review financials
- Valid driver's license
- +5 years of experience in construction and estimating
- Experience in commercial or residential bidding/estimating/project management
- Experience with Xactimate software is a plus
- Pay Rate: $80k-$100k yearly DOE
- 2 weeks of PTO
- 100% covered medical,401K with employer match
- PPE Provided
- Fuel allowance/vehicle allowance
- Company phone and laptop
Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Start Time: 6:00am-9:00am depending on project
- End Time: 3:00pm- 6:00pm depending on project
