THE ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facility. This position is essential for ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for both employees and customers. If you have experience in custodial work or commercial cleaning, we look forward to connecting with you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitation tasks in designated areas, including restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
  • Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while performing sanitation duties.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.



REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Capable of lifting and moving cleaning equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if necessary.
