SOFT's client is looking for a Payroll Tax Specialist for a long term contract assignment. Candidates local to Charlotte, NC are preferred.

The selected candidate will be responsible multi-state payroll tax filings. Experience with ADP Smart Tax Compliance is required along with the ability to conduct tax research on US based localities.

Requirements include:

• 5 - 7 years of functional experience
• Advanced knowledge in general payroll and tax rules, regulations and processes
• Experience with manual state payroll tax filings
• Very good communication skills (oral and written)
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Good planning and organizing skills
• Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and other professional software as required).
