IT Recruiter - Entry Level

About SEQ Technology:

SEQ is a leading provider of IT Solutions, contract staffing, and permanent employment services. Our firm excels in networking with hard-to-reach candidates for positions ranging from entry-level to Subject Matter Experts and C-level executives. With our extensive expertise in serving buy side financial firms, hedge funds, large sell side financial institutions, and private equity, we are seeking an entry level IT Recruiter to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage SEQ's networking capabilities to source and engage hard-to-reach IT talent for our clients, focusing on roles from entry-level to C-suite
• Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans for high-priority IT positions within financial services firms
• Utilize advanced search techniques and AI-powered tools to source passive candidates from various platforms, including LinkedIn, GitHub, and Stack Overflow
• Conduct in-depth technical screening interviews to assess candidates' skills
• Manage complex offer negotiations, including base salary, bonuses, equity compensation, and relocation packages
• Coordinate with HR and legal teams to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations specific to the financial services industry

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of recruiting, sales, or customer service experience
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with candidates and hiring managers
• Basic understanding of IT roles, technologies, and industry terminology
• Ability to screen candidates effectively and assess technical fit
• Research skills for sourcing passive candidates through various channels
• Organization and time management to handle multiple open positions simultaneously

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
