About the Role:
SAHAL SERVICES LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Student Support Professional / School-Based Caregiver to join our team in Carroll, OH. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students by providing hands-on support in an educational setting. Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and support to students with diverse needs throughout the school day
  • Assist students with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support individualized student goals
  • Monitor student behavior and implement positive behavioral support strategies
  • Document and report student progress, incidents, and observations to appropriate personnel
  • Facilitate a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom and school environment
  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support when necessary
Requirements:
  • Experience in caregiving, paraprofessional support, special education, or a related field preferred
  • Ability to work patiently and effectively with students of varying abilities and needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or CDA a plus
  • CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Ability to pass a background check in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent presence for students
