Assembly and Molding Operators
Location: Rochester Hills, MI
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour (Paid Weekly)
Shifts & Pay Rates:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- $15.00 - Assembly
- $16.00 - Molding
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- $15.25 - Assembly
- $16.25 - Molding
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate assembly machinery within the secondary operations, following operator instructions
- Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality, using gauges as required per control plans and quality check sheets
- Maintain high-quality standards for all production parts within the assigned work cell
- Report any quality defects to the Team Leader or Supervisor
- Complete and maintain daily production paperwork (production reports, scrap reports, 5S housekeeping, etc.)
- Scan and print SAP product labels
- Follow and support Lean Manufacturing principles
- Actively participate in Elimination of Waste Team meetings
- Contribute to the achievement of company goals and objectives
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred
- Ability to pass a drug and background check
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with workplace machinery such as SAP handheld scanners, calculators, and printers
