OTR Truck Driver — 2+ Years Experience

Job Summary:
Experienced OTR (Over-the-Road) Truck Driver with 2+ years of commercial driving experience. Responsible for safely transporting freight across regional and nationwide routes while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate tractor-trailer equipment on long-haul and interstate routes.
• Transport and deliver freight on time while maintaining accurate delivery records.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and company safety policies.
• Secure and inspect cargo to ensure safe transportation.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and receivers.
• Manage trip planning, routing, fuel stops, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate logs, bills of lading, and other required paperwork.
• Keep the truck and equipment clean and properly maintained.
• Demonstrate excellent safety awareness and professional driving habits.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of OTR or commercial tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Clean and safe driving record.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service.
• Ability to operate independently and meet delivery deadlines.
• Reliable, responsible, and professional work ethic.
• Willingness to travel and spend extended periods on the road.
