S&C Concrete is a concrete subcontractor working across southern Idaho on commercial, federal, and municipal projects. We keep steady year-round work, we promote from within, and we care about what we leave behind.

We're hiring concrete hands for forming and finishing work for our upcoming projects in Mountain Home & Boise areas.

Forming Work

• Build, set, brace, and strip forms — footings, walls, columns, piers, slab edge
• Work from prints and layout; set string lines and pull dimensions
• Install embeds, anchor bolts, waterstop, and blockouts to spec
• Set up and tear down gang forms and shoring
• Build custom formwork for odd geometry

Finishing Work

• Place, screed, float, and finish flatwork — slabs on grade, sidewalks, curb and gutter, approaches, pads
• Run power trowels, walk-behind and ride-on
• Hand finish edges, joints, and detail work
• Broom, hard trowel, exposed aggregate, and stamped finishes
• Cut and tool control joints on schedule; apply cure and sealer per spec

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years in commercial concrete — forming, finishing, or both
• Comfortable with hand and power tools; levels, transits, and lasers a plus
• Carpenters: experience with wall forming systems: Gates Handset, Simons, etc.
• Finishers: solid with a trowel, float, edger, and groover; can run a power trowel and read a slab
• Can work from prints and layout with limited direction
• Willing to start early and stay late when the pour demands it
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors year-round
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Ability to pass a background check for access to secured/federal jobsites
• ACI Flatwork Finisher certification a plus — we'll pay for it if you don't have it
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
