About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Slice, prepare, and package deli meats, cheeses, and specialty items to customer specifications
• Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders and answering product questions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked deli counter and display case
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
• Operate deli equipment including slicers, scales, and wrapping machines
• Monitor product freshness and assist with inventory and restocking
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently

Requirements:

• Prior deli, food service, or customer service experience preferred
• Knowledge of deli meats, cheeses, and prepared foods is a plus
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
