Job description

Run BiOS serves open models through one OpenAI-compatible API, priced per million tokens, and fine-tunes custom models on dedicated GPUs — customers own the weights. As an AI Product Engineer you build the surfaces that make that engine feel inevitable: the platform console, the API experience, the model catalog, the pricing calculator, and the docs developers read before their first call.

What you'll do:
  • Design, build, and ship end-to-end features across the Run BiOS console and public surfaces — from model catalog to billing to onboarding.
  • Shape the developer experience of one OpenAI-compatible API: error messages, streaming behaviour, SDK ergonomics, quickstarts.
  • Own frontend architecture in TypeScript, React, and Next.js, and the API boundaries behind it.
  • Productize what research and applied ML land — new models, new fine-tuning methods, router improvements — as visible, usable features.
  • Instrument what you ship: activation, funnels, and latency budgets, and act on what they say.
  • Talk to users and read support threads. Close the loop between what developers hit and what we build next.
What you bring:
  • At least 5 years shipping production web applications, with strong TypeScript and React.
  • Full-stack comfort: you can design an API, write the migration, and polish the UI it drives.
  • Genuine fluency in LLM concepts — tokens, context windows, adapters, fine-tuning — even if you have never trained a model yourself.
  • Product judgment: you can argue for a scope cut, and be right.
  • Clear writing. Our docs and interface copy are part of the product.
