Job Summary
Provides sales & customer support coverage, management and strategic focus for the North American End-user Sales of Ruhrpumpen in a defined territory and/or account lists.ย End-user Sales is responsible for increasing sales, market share and profits for all Ruhrpumpen product lines, as well as Non-OEM products, as defined in sales strategies; with a focus on repairs & retrofits of all brands of pumping equipment (OEM or Non-OEM), ย mechanical optimization, parts, and new pumps sales, across all market segments.ย
Responsibilities and Duties
ยทย Grow business in all market segments by calling on assigned customers on a regular basis.
ยทMaintain active communication and relationships with respective in-house personnel
ยทย Develop and maintain active relationships with buying influences and develop new relationships to maintain and grow customer / territory interactions
ยทย Identify and develop new customers and new sales potentials
ยทย Responsible for territory/customer forecast, budgets, and cost control via company approved systems, methods, and policies.
ยทย Represent all Ruhrpumpen products including Non OEM products as defined in sales strategies
ยทย Partner with customers to understand project specifications and scope requirements to insure proposals are generated to meet requirements
ยทย Recommend changes to Key Account sales strategies / tactics as they are periodically evaluated for effectiveness.
ยทย Negotiate orders, including all technical, commercial, and legal details to mutual satisfaction of all parties
ยทย Provide new pump opportunities to OE Inside Sales Group for quoting and specifications.
ยทย Travel to customer locations to ensure close and regular face to face contact.
ยทEntertain customers during and outside normal business hours on regular bases.
ยทย Complete monthly activity reports and forecasts including industry / market / account competitive analysis to support management strategy
Qualifications and Skills
ยทย Open to travelย
ยทย Candidate must live in Texas Area or Oklahoma area
ยทย Ability to communicate ideas, concepts, solutions, customer pay-back at all levels of the customerโs at a high professional level.ย Ability to manage a sales territory, develop and execute individual business plans.
ยทย Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or Similar
ยทย 5+years Pump Industry Experience
