ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I am a second-generation State Farm Agent with 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, following in the footsteps of my father, who has been an agent for 52 years. I hold a finance degree from the University of Texas at Pan American and have continued my education with certifications from The American College.
Our agency is a family-oriented team where collaboration, growth, and support are key values. We currently have two full-time licensed team members in the office and one part-time employee. We believe in rewarding hard work, offering a bonus plan based on individual production, and after one year, team members are eligible for a 3% matching Simple IRA plan. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for Ruben Cardenas Jr - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
• Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries.
• Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
• Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Property/Casualty or Life/Health insurance license.
