Job Details
We are looking for mental health mastered licensed clinician. Compensation starts $45-65/hr Pay is per clinical hour and is determined based on credentials, experience, & specialty. Meetings and admin time are also compensated.

Rooted Counseling & Wellness is looking for clinicians that are passionate about helping clients become deeply rooted within themselves. In addition to standard psychotherapy, we offer clinical yoga, skills workshops, and health & wellness resources.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Current State of Utah license as CSW, LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT.
  •  Previous experience providing mental health therapy
  • Willing to engage in 10-28 sessions per week
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to work effectively on a team
  •  Basic computer along with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Critical decision making/problem-solving skills
  •  Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnoses/disorders
  • Access to Telehealth compliant work area including laptop and private internet access
  • Must pass a background check and drug test upon hiring

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform intake evaluations/assessments, formulate client diagnoses, and provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy services
  • Ability to facilitate or co-facilitate therapeutic groups and assist with innovative curriculum development
  • Maintain accurate and timely charting of evaluations, individual, family, or group therapy, treatment plans, and discharge summaries of all clients on caseload
  • Develop and maintain satisfactory work habits with respect to timeliness, judgment, cooperation, communication, responsibility and computer literacy.
  • Establish positive and trusting relationships with clients to foster eective therapeutic process
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize needs.
  • Manage crises and safety issues that arise with clients
  • Engage in professional collaboration with clinical team to create dynamic, effective, and evolving interventions and treatment plans
  • Update clinical knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhance company reputation by accepting ownership and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Ideal candidates

  • Previous experience providing therapy with interest in growing clinical skills
  • Commitment to continued professional development and open to feedback
  • Has a current specialty or is Interested in creating a specialty such as trauma, IFS, LI
  • EMDR,Somatic Experiencing, DBT, and EFT.
  • Preference for clinical experience with trauma, anxiety, and women’s issues
  • Autonomous/Independent -- enjoys working with little direction

Additional information:

Practice location is in Draper with options for some remote work.
