Position Overview

Rooster Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced RN Registered Nurse to join a well-established Skilled Nursing Facility in Bennington, VT as a Full-Time Evening Shift Supervisor.

This is a 1-year contract opportunity offering excellent compensation, consistent full-time hours, and the opportunity to lead an experienced nursing team in a supportive long-term care environment. As the Evening Shift Supervisor, you will oversee clinical operations during the evening shift while ensuring the highest standards of resident care and regulatory compliance.

RN Job Requirements

• Active Vermont RN License

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care setting

• Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred

• Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently as an RN Registered Nurse while leading the evening nursing team

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff, including LPNs and CNAs

• Coordinate resident care and oversee nursing operations during the evening shift

• Respond to changes in resident conditions and emergency situations

• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with federal and state regulations

• Oversee admissions, discharges, and resident transfers

• Administer medications and ensure physician orders are carried out accurately

• Serve as the primary clinical leader during the evening shift

• Promote quality care and mentor nursing staff while maintaining high clinical standards as an RN Registered Nurse
