About the Role

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play an essential role in helping our residents regain independence, improve communication, and safely enjoy everyday activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans that maximize resident outcomes.

  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, dietary services, and families.

  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.

  • Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies.

  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings.

  • Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Current California SLP License (or eligibility)

  • Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are strongly encouraged to apply

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required

  • Passion for working with older adults in a skilled nursing setting

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care
