Job Summary

Rogar Safety & Consulting LLC is seeking an experienced and dependable Bilingual Safety Coordinator (English/Spanish) to provide full-time field safety support for an active construction project in Monroe, North Carolina.

This position includes per diem paid 7 days per week for eligible personnel, making this an excellent opportunity for both local and traveling safety professionals.

We are looking for a field-oriented safety professional who is comfortable working directly with construction crews, supervisors, contractors, and client representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily field safety oversight and support.
  • Conduct jobsite safety inspections and observations.
  • Participate in JSA/JHA reviews and pre-task planning.
  • Identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe behaviors.
  • Work with field supervision to implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings in both English and Spanish.
  • Communicate safety requirements to English- and Spanish-speaking personnel.
  • Monitor PPE compliance and safe work practices.
  • Assist with incident and near-miss investigations and documentation.
  • Complete daily safety reports and required documentation.
  • Participate in contractor and client safety meetings.
  • Assist with new-hire safety orientations when required.
  • Maintain a professional and proactive safety presence in the field.
  • Support company, contractor, client, and OSHA safety requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proficient in English and Spanish.
  • Previous construction, industrial, electrical, oil & gas, or comparable field safety experience.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA construction safety requirements.
  • Strong communication and field leadership skills.
  • Ability to recognize hazards and communicate corrective actions.
  • Basic computer skills for reports, email, and safety documentation.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work independently in an active construction environment.

Preferred:

  • OSHA 30 Construction.
  • Electrical construction or power-distribution safety experience.
  • Experience with JSA/JHA development and review.
  • Experience conducting toolbox talks and safety training.
  • Incident investigation and reporting experience.
  • STSC, CHST, OSHA 510, or other recognized safety certifications are a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
  • Per diem provided 7 days per week for eligible personnel.
  • Overtime opportunities based on the project schedule.
  • Long-term project opportunity.
  • Potential for continued assignments with Rogar Safety & Consulting LLC based on performance and project availability.

About Rogar Safety & Consulting LLC

Rogar Safety & Consulting LLC provides professional field safety representation, safety consulting, compliance support, training, inspections, auditing, and safety-management services to construction and industrial clients.

We’re looking for someone who wants to be actively involved with the field team—not someone who simply sits in a truck completing paperwork.

The right candidate will be professional, approachable, dependable, and capable of building positive relationships with craft personnel, supervision, contractors, and client representatives.

Immediate opening – Monroe, NC.

When applying, please provide your resume, current location, safety certifications, years of field safety experience, and earliest available start date.
