Role Description This full-time, on-site Automotive Technician role is based in McKinney, TX. The Automotive Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance, including inspections, fluid checks, and scheduled service tasks. Daily responsibilities include conducting oil changes, completing general automotive repairs, diagnosing issues, and addressing suspension-related concerns. The role involves accurately documenting work performed, communicating findings and recommendations to service advisors or management, and following all safety procedures and quality standards. The technician will use appropriate tools and equipment, maintain a clean and organized work area, and collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and routine Maintenance & Repair.
• Candidates should possess skills in performing Oil Changes and related preventive service tasks.
• Candidates should possess skills in Automotive Repair, including basic diagnostics and component replacement.
• Candidates should possess skills in working with Suspension systems, including inspection and repair.
• Basic understanding of automotive electrical and braking systems is beneficial.
• Ability to read and follow repair orders, service manuals, and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and time management skills.
• Ability to work on-site, stand for extended periods, and lift automotive parts and tools as needed.
• Previous experience in an automotive shop or relevant vocational training is preferred.
• Automotive certifications (e.g., ASE) are a plus but not required.
