Press Brake or Laser Operator – Metal Fabrication

Pay: $18–$20 per hour depending on experience

This position is for machine operators who have worked in metal fabrication shops operating press brakes or laser cutting machines.

Applicants without experience operating metal fabrication equipment will not be considered.

Requirements

• Experience operating press brake machines or laser cutting machines in a fabrication environment

• Ability to read blueprints and follow fabrication instructions

• Experience measuring parts using tape measures or basic measuring tools

• Ability to handle sheet metal and fabricated components safely

• Manufacturing or fabrication shop experience required

Responsibilities

• Operate press brake or laser cutting equipment to produce metal components

• Follow blueprints and work instructions for part production

• Measure and inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications

• Load and unload sheet metal materials from machines

• Maintain safe operation of fabrication equipment

Work Environment

This position operates in a metal fabrication shop environment working with sheet metal, fabrication equipment, and material handling equipment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience operating CNC press brake machines

• Experience operating laser cutting machines

• Experience working in steel or sheet metal fabrication
