Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations through comprehensive assessments.
• Design, implement, and adjust tailored rehabilitation programs that facilitate recovery from musculoskeletal injuries and surgeries.
• Utilize hands-on therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and modalities, to alleviate pain and improve function.
• Instruct and motivate patients during therapeutic exercises, ensuring correct form and technique, while tracking progress in real-time.
• Evaluate and modify treatment plans based on ongoing patient assessments and feedback.
• Document patient progress and updates in compliance with regulatory standards using EMR systems like WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with adult and geriatric patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical interventions, and chronic pain conditions. Understanding the unique challenges faced by these demographics will be crucial in delivering empathetic and effective care. Your expertise will help them regain mobility and improve their overall health and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program with a Master's (MPT) or Doctoral (DPT) degree.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of clinical physical therapy experience, particularly in orthopedic settings.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.
• Advanced certifications in specialized areas of physical therapy, such as orthopedics or manual therapy.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a compassionate approach towards patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
