Restaurant Paradis

The Restaurant Line Cook will play a critical role in delivering exceptional fine dining southern cuisine with a twist. Working closely with a medium-sized team, the cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The restaurant is open for dinner only, so hours are evenings and weekends. Candidate should be ready to have fun, work hard and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook southern-inspired fine dining dishes
• Set up and organize assigned cooking station
• Ensure sanitation and safety compliance throughout the shift
• Maintain consistent quality control of all menu items
• Collaborate effectively with a team of 4-7 kitchen staff
• Adhere to kitchen safety and hygiene standards

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in culinary or food service
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of food safety practices
• Proficient knife skills
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent attention to detail
