Job Title:Travel/Local Breast Sonographer
Location: Columbus, OH
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8)
Compensation
Weekly Gross Pay: Up to $2,877/week
Taxable Pay: Approximately $1,400/week ($35.00/hour)
Housing & Meal Stipend: Approximately $1,477/week
Estimated Blended Rate: Approximately $71.93/hour
Final compensation package is negotiable based on experience, certifications, travel eligibility, and local status.
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Breast Sonographer to join a busy outpatient breast imaging department. This role focuses on performing diagnostic breast ultrasound and Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS) procedures while supporting a high-volume imaging practice. The technologist may occasionally provide coverage at satellite imaging locations.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 1 year of Ultrasound experience
Previous Breast Ultrasound experience required
ARDMS certification required
BLS certification required
ARDMS Breast (BR) certification preferred
Epic EMR experience required
Experience using GE Logiq 10 ultrasound equipment preferred
Outpatient imaging experience preferred
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic breast ultrasound and ABUS examinations
Perform adult and small parts ultrasound studies
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
Collaborate with radiologists and the imaging team
Occasionally provide coverage at satellite imaging locations
