Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Century City, Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)

$120,000 - $145,000 Base Salary + bonus


Are you a strategic HR leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth healthcare environments? An industry-leading clinical research organization is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to support multiple locations across California and Colorado.

This organization is dedicated to advancing healthcare through clinical research across therapeutic areas including oncology, cardiometabolic disease, renal health, CNS, pulmonology, vaccines, and other life-changing treatments. As a key HR partner, you'll work directly with leadership to drive employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, compliance, and talent development initiatives.


What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for leadership teams and employees across multiple locations
  • Provide strategic guidance on employee relations, organizational design, workforce planning, performance management, and talent development
  • Partner with operational leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives
  • Conduct and manage complex employee relations investigations and conflict resolution matters
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including California labor regulations
  • Support employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, engagement, leaves of absence, compensation, performance management, and offboarding
  • Lead organizational change initiatives and HR projects
  • Utilize HR metrics and workforce data to drive informed business decisions
  • Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition and HR leadership on recruiting, retention, and succession planning initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5-7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Minimum 5 years in an HR Business Partner capacity
  • Strong expertise in California employment law
  • Deep employee relations experience, including investigations and conflict resolution
  • Proven ability to influence leaders and build trusted partnerships at all levels
  • Experience supporting multi-site organizations
  • PHR or SHRM certification preferred
